The Southeastern Region held the first sessions of our New to CTE teacher workshops at the end of October. We were very pleased to have over 40 new CTE teachers attend between the two different sessions! Thanks so much to all who presented and attended, as well as to those on the planning committee. We’d also like to give a HUGE thank you to both Mid-East Career & Technology Center and Buckeye Hills Career Center for hosting!

The purpose of the Ohio Career Technical Education Equipment Grant Program is to award competitive grants to schools to establish or expand CTE programs. Up to $100 million is available for Ohio Career Technical Education Equipment Grant Program awards. The Ohio Career Technical Education Equipment Grant Program application window opens Nov. 3, 2023 and closes Dec. 15, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. For more information and the application, click here!

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted announced that the application period for Ohio’s Teacher Bootcamp Program is now open for institutions of higher education.
