FY2026 E4E Grant News and One Funding Application Updates
The Equity for Each grant is now called the E4E grant! The E4E competitive grant assists recipients, the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, and the Ohio Department of Higher Education, in identifying and promoting promising practices for continuously improving career-technical education delivery and may support recipients in the ongoing development and alignment of local data collection systems to improve data-driven decision-making and strategic planning. The state of Ohio is committed to improving access, engagement, and outcomes for all career-technical education students with an intentional focus on students included in Perkins V’s defined special populations.
The E4E Grant application will be available online March 1. 2025. Applying for the grant will include a document upload in the One Funding Application.
A soft launch of the One Funding Application is planned prior to the official launch in June. The soft launch is intended only for entities that intend on applying for the FY2026 Comprehensive Literacy State Development Grant or the E4E Grant.
Interested E4E applicants are required to attend one of the One Funding Application Soft Launch and Training sessions.
Question about the E4E Grant scan be directed to Christopher.Moscato@education.ohio.gov.

Fiscal Year 2024 Perkins Local Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
Notification for secondary FY2024 Local PIPs will be Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Perkins V requires a Local PIP for each of the 9 federal indicators that did not meet 90% of the state-identified levels of performance. Districts will have 30 days to complete 1 survey for each indicator required to have a plan in place for improvement by May 1, 2025.
The new CTE Perkins Federal Indicator Review will be housed in the Data Collection application in MyOhio. This will become available on or before April 1, 2025, and will serve as a dashboard of all federal indicators meeting or not meeting 90% of the state-identified target. Those not meeting the 90% of the state-identified target will be prompted to complete a Local PIP survey for each not met indicator. Webinars will walk participants through this new, easier process for submitting Local PIPs and for viewing all indicator data in one location.
The intended audience for these webinars is career-technical planning districts (CTPDs), Ohio Technical Centers (OTCs), and Community Colleges that are responsible for Perkins funding.
These webinars will take place on Teams, Thursday, March 20th and March 27th from 12pm. Each date will present the same webinar.
All of those registered will receive an Outlook invitation to both dates.
Questions about the webinars can be directed to Deborah.Turner@education.ohio.gov.
