I am excited to begin my new role as a Career Connection Consultant serving the
western portion of the Southeast Ohio region. I bring more than two decades of
experience supporting students, families, and communities across Perry County.
Most recently, I served as the College and Career Readiness Coordinator at Miller
High School. My career has been centered around building community
partnerships, supporting education, and creating opportunities that help young
people discover their strengths, explore their options, and prepare for life beyond
high school.
I have spent most of my life in Southeast Ohio and have been actively involved in
my community through various committees, directing summer youth camps,
serving on village council, and solving world problems on the front porch with
neighbors. I have always had a deep passion for our beautiful region and the people
of the Little Cities of Black Diamonds area.
These experiences have shaped my belief that students are best served when
schools, families, businesses, postsecondary institutions, and communities work
together. I am eager to bring that perspective into my new role and continue
building the connections and partnerships that create meaningful opportunities for
students across Southeast Ohio.
I look forward to meeting new people, learning from the work already underway,
and connecting the people, resources, and opportunities that help Southeast Ohio
students see what is possible—and have the support to get there.
When I am not at work, I enjoy glamping, taking random day trips, spending time
with family, cheering on my nieces and nephews at sporting events, and taking the
roads less traveled to find hidden treasures.
